Patchers, a popular app for saving your favorite texts, are giving students with no scholarships a chance to take part in a scholarship program.
The program is open to students in high school, college, and beyond who have a passion for their profession, and want to get involved in the digital world.
Patchers also gives a $10,000 scholarship to each student who takes the online course.
“I think it is very exciting to see this trend,” said Matthew Smith, co-founder of Patchers.
“The Patchers app is one of the best online apps for saving the world, so when I saw this I was like, ‘wow, this is really cool.'”
The Patchers scholarship program will begin in September with about 10,000 applicants who are expected to be accepted into the program this year.
“It’s definitely going to be a lot of work for some people,” said Smith.
“We are going to work hard to get people out of their dorms and to make sure they have a good education.”
The scholarship is a small amount compared to the amount of money many college students earn.
Students in the program receive a $1,500 gift card that they can use to buy the app.
Students are also encouraged to make donations to charities and organizations that benefit the campus.
The scholarships will be in the form of an Apple gift card, which will be matched by the students themselves.
Patcher says it is an opportunity to help students realize their dreams and that this is just the beginning.
“Patchers has helped thousands of people throughout their careers, and we are excited to be able to continue that,” said Patchers co-founders.
“These scholarships will help our students achieve their dreams of becoming a digital nomad and to continue their journey into the future.”
The company is also working to make Patchers more accessible to everyone, including students with disabilities.
“With our digital nomads and our digital entrepreneurs, we want to make our app accessible to people from all walks of life,” said David Ochoa, a senior vice president of marketing for Patchers and co-author of the app’s guide, Patchers for Everyone.
“As we continue to grow and add more people to our community, we will continue to add more opportunities to our users and the platform.”
For students, the scholarship offers a chance at a job that will pay as much as $35,000 per year.
Students who qualify will be able access a “digital nomad lifestyle,” which includes live streaming of lectures, a digital job board, and access to a personal assistant.
The Patcher team is also offering students a chance for a scholarship to become an instructor at Patchers Academy, a college-based online training program for the digital nomadic.
Patches first college-focused online training class is scheduled for November.
In September, the company also announced it would launch a digital version of its free app, Patcher for Everyone, which is now available for free in more than 20 countries.
The company also is working on an Android app for students, which could also be available to download soon.
