LOS ANGELES — Instalar, the newest pet-tracking app that lets you track your catfish from the sky, will start rolling out to consumers today.
The pet-surfing app lets users log their catfish sightings from a map on their smartphone and use the app to send photos, video and GPS coordinates to Instalars owners, according to the company.
The app lets owners tag and tag their cats as well as track them on their iPhones, iPads and Android devices, said Jennifer Nunn, founder of Instalaria.
In the future, Instalarios owner can even send a GPS signal to the app and get a notification of their cat’s location, Nunn said.
Lucky Patcher is a similar app that was designed to track cats from their nests, Nissers said.
The cat-tracking feature will be available to all consumers at the same time, she said.
Lucky Patchers features include: tagging your cat with a photo, recording and sharing videos, tracking your cat’s movements and recording your cat in the process.
LuckyPatcher has been downloaded more than 20 million times.
