The internet has been flooded with memes about Redditors with cancer, with one user mocking the redditors name Lucky Patcher as he has had his battle with the disease.
The Redditors story has gained attention from the world and it’s been one of the most popular topics of discussion on the site, which has over 4 billion users.
One Reddit user who goes by the handle LuckyPatcher said he’s lucky to be alive.
He said he went to visit his mother, who is battling pancreatic cancer.
He’s seen the story on Reddit, but not a lot of others.
“I think it’s really funny, but I’m not 100 percent sure about the actual fact that it’s my mom’s cancer and I’m just trying to share it,” Lucky Patchers mother, Jennifer Koehn told ABC News.
Lucky Patcher is an avid redditor and has amassed more than 300,000 subscribers on the popular subreddit.
He has been diagnosed with pancreatic neuroblastoma and has undergone multiple surgeries and chemotherapy treatments.
Ladies of cancer, I have cancer.
I hope to soon be cancer free.
It’s been a long road and I am very lucky.

LuckyPatchers mother and Redditors response was even more positive.
“We appreciate you taking the time to answer our questions.
It has been a real joy to see how people’s opinions have changed as we have battled cancer.
Thank you for all of the love and support, and hope to be able to share the good news with you soon!”
